Develop an app for iOS, Android and the web

Do you need a complete app for your customers, your team or a product of your own? We cover planning, design, development and testing through the agreed publication process. Platforms and scope follow how the app will actually be used.

Who and what this is for

For businesses and product owners building a coherent mobile or browser-based service. We establish who will use it, which task it solves and whether iOS, Android, a web app or a combination makes sense.

An app needs more than individual screens. Sign-in and roles, data storage, integrations, useful error states and interrupted connections need to work together. Notifications, camera access, offline use or payments are included only where the agreed workflow needs them.

For an existing app, extensions, fault fixes or a takeover can be agreed after a technical review. Existing accounts, source code, dependencies and publishing rights form part of that assessment.

A concrete example

Illustrative scenario explaining the service

A service app from first concept to publication

The situation
A business wants customers to record a service request on their phone and check its progress.
The starting point
The current service workflow, required data, existing APIs and intended devices. Personal sample data are not needed for the initial discussion.
What we would build
An app with sign-in, request capture and status views, connected to an agreed backend. Photos or offline capture are included only where the actual use requires them.
How the result would be checked
A request can be created and found again on agreed devices. Missing information, expired sign-in and interrupted connectivity are handled clearly.

What you receive

  • A product concept covering users, core journeys, platform choice and agreed acceptance criteria.
  • A coherent app for the agreed platforms, including design, functionality and required backend or service integrations.
  • Checks of the core journeys on agreed devices and browsers, including relevant failure and connectivity cases.
  • Preparation and support for Apple App Store and Google Play submission, or web app deployment within the agreed scope.
  • Source code, setup instructions and documented handover; further development, updates and ongoing maintenance by separate agreement.

How we work

  1. Define the product and platformsWe describe core features, roles and data flows. A usable prototype makes navigation and scope reviewable before full implementation. Cross-platform or platform-specific technology is chosen to fit the requirements.
  2. Develop the app and integrationsInterface, data handling and required APIs are built together. You can try intermediate versions. Device-specific features and permissions are checked within the agreed scope.
  3. Test, submit and hand overWe check the agreed journeys, prepare builds and store information, and support submission. For web apps, hosting and deployment are agreed. Maintenance and later versions can be commissioned separately after handover.

Store accounts, fees, content and privacy declarations are clarified before submission. Apple and Google decide on approval; approval and review dates are not guaranteed. Submission support and any later rework are bounded in the quotation.

Useful for a first conversation

  • The core task and intended users.
  • Existing systems, content and publishing access where available.
  • Required platforms and a person responsible for acceptance.

Define the scope together

Features, platforms, backend, submission support and ongoing maintenance are described separately. This is an illustrative project, not a client reference.

How we work

  • You first receive a written offer with scope, schedule and price.
  • We only start once you have accepted the offer.
  • Payment for the sprints is due after acceptance of the delivered work and receipt of an invoice; an advance payment applies only if validly agreed. Section 8 of our terms sets out payment details.
  • If your Website Sprint offer includes the direction guarantee and neither design direction suits you, you may end the sprint in text form, for example by email, at no cost within five working days after receiving both directions. This option ends when you select and approve a direction. If you end the sprint under the guarantee, you may not use the designs in production.

Details in our terms

Working together

How is the price determined?

It depends on the objective, starting point and agreed scope. Deliverables, required input and fees are described before commissioning. A limited first step can help resolve open questions.

How long does a project take?

Timing depends on scope, available material, access and approvals. A schedule is agreed for the actual project. Changed requirements or missing content can affect it.

What is included after handover?

The agreed files, source material, setup notes and check results are handed over. Hosting, ongoing maintenance, support and further changes are explicitly agreed as needed.
