Industry & robotics: check first, then invest

Before extending equipment or automating a process, requirements and constraints need to fit together. We help structure the preparation and deliver clearly bounded software or visualisation tasks.

Who and what this is for

For businesses assessing a technical project or adding a defined digital function to an existing installation. The real process, available data and responsible specialists form the starting point.

A useful first task might be a requirements list, an interface overview or an isolated feasibility check. That can establish which next steps and specialist partners are needed.

A concrete example

Illustrative scenario explaining the service

Explore machine status in an isolated trial

The situation
A business wants a clearer overview of equipment status. Before integration, it needs to establish which data is available and how reliably it arrives.
The starting point
An interface description, sample messages and the meaning of each state. Responsible specialists define the operational boundaries.
What we would build
A data overview and an isolated display prototype using sample data. It presents state changes and flags missing or outdated messages without controlling the equipment.
How the result would be checked
Defined messages are supplied and compared with the display. Lost connections, unknown values and stale data are included. Unresolved integration questions remain visible.

What you receive

  • An understandable description of the existing process, objective and technical constraints.
  • An overview of relevant components, data paths and interfaces based on available documentation.
  • A bounded software prototype, visualisation or test setup where appropriate and agreed.
  • Documented findings, open questions, risks and a concrete next check.

How we work

  1. Define requirements togetherOperating conditions, responsibilities and existing documentation are reviewed with the responsible people. Unknown properties are recorded as unknown.
  2. Test away from live operationsWhere possible, the approach is explored using sample data or an isolated environment. Changes to equipment require a separate approved plan.
  3. Hand over findings and limitationsThe report distinguishes observations from assumptions. It identifies the specialist review or integration work still required before actual use.

This service does not replace machinery acceptance, CE conformity assessment or safety approval. Safety-critical work needs appropriately qualified responsible specialists.

Useful for a first conversation

  • The existing workflow and the intended objective.
  • Available sample data and technical documentation.
  • Responsible contacts for equipment, IT and approvals.

Define the scope together

A display concept or data trial can be a useful first assignment. Control changes, commissioning and specialist acceptance are planned separately.

Working together

How is the price determined?

It depends on the objective, starting point and agreed scope. Deliverables, required input and fees are described before commissioning. A limited first step can help resolve open questions.

How long does a project take?

Timing depends on scope, available material, access and approvals. A schedule is agreed for the actual project. Changed requirements or missing content can affect it.

What is included after handover?

The agreed files, source material, setup notes and check results are handed over. Hosting, ongoing maintenance, support and further changes are explicitly agreed as needed.
